Financial Spread Betting Resources, Books, Videos, Software and More
Learning how to spread bet on financial markets is a journey and there is a host of material out there. Here SpreadPlanet outlines a small selection which we have found useful and informative.
Books
The books highlighted are some of the most widely read by spread bettors and traders. For the absolute beginner we recommend the books by Malcolm Pryor who provides a clear step by step guide in his 'The Financial Spread Betting Handbook' and some very easy to follow strategies in his 'Winning Spread Betting Strategies'.
Some of these books are are U.S. based and therefore will refer more directly to trading and the ownership of financial instruments rather than spread betting directly. This is because spread betting isn't available in the US - the topics they address apply equally to spread betting and trading.
e-Books
This selection of e-books is entirely free and and covers a broad range of topics relating to financial spread betting. Some relate purely to the psychological aspects of spread betting and trading, something which should not be under-estimated, others cover more detailed topics such as analytical tools.
Software/Other
A broad collection of useful software links and information to assist the spread bettor.
Videos
A selection of various videos relating to financial spread betting and associated strategies.
